Hey Everyone, I slipped on some ice to day and wiped out pretty bad, I broke a bone in my ankle. They sent me home with an air cast and the order to put absolutely no weight on it (soooo, no going to school). I'm meeting with a bone specialist in the next couple of weeks to see if it can heal okay on its' own of if they're going need to slice my foot open to insert a plate. Please pray that I'd be able to get out of this the no-operation route. I feel that this injury is something God really allowed to happen for a specific reason, so please also pray that I would be given discernment and be lead by the Spirit at this time. My bible study is going to have to run our outreach without me, school is in its' last crazy month and I'm about to start support-raising for a summer internship with Campus for Christ/ Power to Change ( I got accepted!!! ). This has divine intervention written allll over it basically! I treasure you all. Thank you for being a community of safety and welcome. - Barb

Hey everyone,
Thanks for your prayers. The brake turned out to be worse than I thought. They bumped me up on the schedule and so yesterday I ended up meeting up with the specialist, and got into surgery that same afternoon. Praise the Lord that they were able to get to operate before it shifted even more out of place.
Please continue to pray for healing, patience, discernment and joy.
Love! - Barb
