A friend at work just found out her mother has colon cancer - the extent of the cancer is not known but anxiety reigns as a few years ago her (the mother's) sister had a similar cancer and they discovered it had spread quickly through her body and she died soon after. Monday is the day they get the prognosis. Tuesday the whole family is suppose to fly to Venezuela for my friend's son's wedding. She asked me for prayer for her mother and I believe my friend could use some support too!

My friend has recently given us the final update on her mom. All good! The surgery went well, the cancer was removed and not too much colon so she doesn't have to wear a "bag". Recovery went fairly well, although independent women are sometimes hard to "do for". The news this past week is that she returned to the oncologist and all is well - no sign of any cancer anywhere. The family is extremely grateful for all of the prayers and support they've received, believing that God truly worked a wonderful result.
My friend gave me a huge hug and told me to please share it with you all!
