Please pray for my upcoming missions trip to Uganda for the last three weeks of June. Pray for safety, finances and all of the children that I will be meeting. My prayer is that I come back with an even deeper love for God's people!

A MESSAGE FROM HANNAH on JUNE 2, 2009: We just finished our first day in Uganda! We mostly did errands and visited the children's home and school. Today (its 7:45 am) is our first day of ministry. But more importantly, i have a major prayer request! Aindrea has been up all night coughing and has a fever and is in a fair bit of pain. She's pretty upset and her whole body hurts. We have another nurse on the team looking after her and are praying for her too, but we could use some more prayer! Aindrea seems to think it is a virus, but whatever it is, its a whole lot scarier when you're away from home, especially in Africa.

Aindrea was taken to a medical clinic tonight. She's been taking cipro, and not sleeping well. Tonight she felt like she couldn't breath. We think it might be strep throat- which wouldn't respond to the cipro. She's basically only feeling ok when she's on T3's. We are definitely praying for her a lot, and the nurses and pharmacists are looking out for her. Her sister is pretty upset though, and apparently Aindrea mentioned wanting to come home. Its been really hard on her!!! Thanks for the prayers!

Hi Hannah and Aindrea. You are both on my heart and in my prayers. May the Lord give you peace as you wait for His healing.

Hellooooo.... sorry it has taken me so long to email.....its has been one of the most terrible weeks here in Uganda. I got off the plane and our first night here i came down with a terrible virus and no one can still figure out what it is. For almost four days i had a fever that we could not get to go down, vomiting, headache, cough and dizziness. I had to miss three days of ministry and just stay in bed here at the guest house because i was so violently ill. I also managed somehow to pass it on to two other team members. I was ready to pack in the towel and come home because i felt like more of a burden for the team as they all took turn during the days and nights taking care of me. Today was the first day i almost felt myself and was able to do a medical clinic and ministry to many people. I have no idea what God is doing with me here and why i needed to go through this terrible time but i continue to press on because thank goodness i have another full week here to minister to the people. My team has been such a blessing and again i am making some great life long friends who share a similar heart to mine. I really need the prayers of all of you over my health.....i think i couldn't handle much more....... i love you all...thank you for helping me get here to uganda.....i look forward to sharing the stories with you when i get back!!! luv always, aindrea
